Today is Christmas Eve and I am stuck at work...bah humbug!  I just got an email saying we can leave at 3pm once our work is done.  For me, this means closer to 5 but I am hoping for 4.....at least it is earlier though right?

I haven't really been in much of the holiday spirit this season.  I work everyday, Mike works everyday and there just seems like there is no time to get all the 1573206 things done that I have to do.  What I AM excited for is to see Noah's face when Santa comes, we have our festivities and we open presents.  This year is going to be so much different then last year because he actually "gets it" now.  

And get this.....he LIKES Santa!  I thought he was going to be petrified of him, seeing as every time we see the guy dressed in a cow costume at Stew Leonards, he screams "no cow, no cow"  but not Santa.  Maybe it has something to do with that fact that this jolly ole' elf brings toys?  Who knows but my kids likes it.  I took him to see Santa at our local firehouse and he ran up to him, gave him a hug, jumped on his lap and when asked what he wanted for Christmas, responded with "presents and trains"  It was so adorable!  So much that it made our Christmas card this year.

We told Noah that Santa comes Christmas Eve and leaves presents for all the good little boys and girls and my aunt got us our very own Santa costume.  It was a steal too!  Marked down to $35 from $200!  We are having dinner at our house tonight and opening presents.  It is kind of confusing since Santa doesn't really come till tomorrow, but we are telling Noah he is coming alittle early this year.  I figure next year, when he really understands, we wont be able to get away with this.  I am hoping Mike can make it to dinner seeing as he working in LI, the weather is crappy and its Christmas Eve....who knows what traffic will be like.

As for the menu we are having chicken Marsala, calamari and pasta, with shrimp cocktail, pigs in a blanket, bruschetta, and veggies.  And I am making a Candy Cane martini for the cocktail....hopefully it is good seeing as I have never had it.  I am Italian and the whole traditional thing to do it eat fish or rather 7 types of fish but that never worked me for seeing as I DESPISE fish....so we are sinners and eat meat.....oh well!

ME!

I just looked at this thing and realized it has been almost a month since I blogged....damn!  I have pretty busy and frankly not really in the mood to write about anything. I AM here and all is well and hopefully my creative juices will start flowing again and I will write a little ditty for you all to read.

Till then, this will have to satisfy your blog addiction.
